Palm Hotel, Gaborone
Telecommunications
liberalisation can bring the most modern products and services into
Botswana's economy now and at lower costs, United States Ambassador
to Botswana Joseph Huggins has said.
Huggins
was speaking during a three-day stakeholder forum on further liberalisation
of the telecommunication market, at opening of a three day workshop
Gaborone at the Grand Plam Hotel
Global
companies must access information and communicate with their clients
and associates in real which could only be made possible by liberalising
telecommunications. Liberalisation of telecommunications said Huggins
could also result in cheaper international calls.
